Service Opportunity for Men in the Church
Our men’s ministry has various pillars – fellowship, bible study, retreats/outings and service. All of these seek to facilitate the overall theme of discipleship. We have an opportunity on Saturday, May 8th to serve Tina Sanders. We will be doing repair on a fence and removing a swing set. If you are interested in this opportunity to serve for a few hours that morning, please reach out to Darol Timberlake (DTimberlake@redeemerweb.com).
Men’s Fall Retreat 2019:
Have You Heard About our Mercy Outreach Programs?
We desire to serve our neighbors and friends who are in need. If you, or someone you know has a physical need with which we could help, please let us know. This could include yard cleanup for an elderly neighbor, lawn mowing for a widow, or a small exterior house issue for a family that does not have the means or expertise to fix. Our Mercy Outreach team will first assess the need and then will form a team of volunteers if we’re able to help.
Please contact Luke Stretch at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Men’s Ministry Breakfast 9-30-18
Spring Retreat 2018
To emphasize the four G’s Mission of the church by specifically growing men who desire deep relationships into laborers who pour themselves into others through life on life discipleship.
The purpose of our Men’s Ministry is to provide various opportunities for our men to grow, specifically through (1) Small Group discipleship, (2) Large group meetings for accountability and fellowship, and (3) Retreats that give our men time to branch out and develop new relationships. That being said, we really seek to be relationship driven, and not focused specifically on events, as we grow in grace together, build friendships, and learn to help one another. We want our men to develop as the leaders that God wants them to become.
Our disciple teams have 3 to 4 members, and meet regularly to invest in each other’s lives by going through a common study. Our large group studies are for those who are new to the church or prefer a less intense curriculum for this season in their lives. Either way, we invite you to come and be a part of this integral part of our church ministry. If interested, contact Darol Timberlake through our church office at 704-225-0161.
