Chairman of the Missions’s Committee – Meghan Linn
At Church of the Redeemer, we are passionate about missions and outreach because God is passionate about the world hearing and experiencing the Good News of the saving work of Christ. We, therefore, seek to support mission work locally and globally through our prayers and encouragement, financial resources, mission trips, and doing “good works that God has prepared for us to do” (Eph 2:10). At least 10% of your tithe to Church of the Redeemer goes to our missionaries and local mercy needs. Please join us in praying for them as well. Prayer cards are available in the church lobby.
If you would like to know more about Missions and Outreach at Church of the Redeemer, please contact Meghan Linn through the church office at 704-225-0161 or info@redeemerweb.com.
Community Shelter Dinners
Help provide or serve dinners to the hungry in Union County by serving dinner on Mondays or Thursdays for just over an hour. Please arrive by 5:30, dinner is from 6-6:30pm, and then there is a bit of clean up afterwards. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Meghan Linn (meghanlinn@gmail.com). See you there! Missions
We have a special passion for church planting and multiplication locally and globally. As a result, we have entered into epicenter partnerships with Reformed and Evangelical missions, focusing the resources God provides in a few places. Our hope and prayer is that God will utilize the church so that unreached peoples and those who have insufficient gospel witness may hear the name of Christ and that more worship will be promoted.

Outreach
Reaching the world for Christ begins just outside our own front doors as we seek to love our neighbors (Matt 22:39). Church of the Redeemer partners with several ministries and agencies in Union County to assist them with the services and ministry they provide to our community.
Monroe HELP Crisis Pregnancy Center: We participate in their Annual Banquet for Life, baby bottle drive, Walk-a-Thon, collection of items needed on a monthly basis, and by volunteering at the center. Please visit their website for more information: www.monroehelpcpc.net/
Community Shelter of Union County: We participate with UCCS by preparing and serving evening meals approximately every other month and monthly food drives. This is an opportunity to not only feed the body of the poor in our community, but also to feed their spirits. If you, your family, life group, Bible study or any other group is interested in helping with the meals, please sign up on the link provided. All the information needed is located on their website: http://www.unionshelter.org/
Turning Point of Union County and Tree House Children’s Advocacy Center: Due to the confidential nature of these services, please visit their website for more information. There are volunteer opportunities available as well as events during the year. If there are current opportunities, you will find them listed on the Missions and Outreach table in our church lobby. Visit their website for more information regarding their services at http://www.turntoday.net/
Good News Club: In the past, we have had a group serving at Stallings Elementary School by sharing the gospel after school through games, stories and relationship. Please visit their website for more information http://www.cefonline.com/good-news-clubs and contact dtimberlake@redeemerweb.com to get involved.
Love Life Charlotte: In a desire to end abortion and support families and babies (born and pre-born), churches around Charlotte volunteer to walk and pray around the busiest abortion clinic each Saturday. Love Life provides opportunities for counseling, mentorship, orphan care and Restored Life, an abortion recovery ministry. Redeemer’s weekend to walk and pray is usually in the fall. Stay tuned for details. For more information about Love Live visit https://www.lovelife.org/
