Rev. Adam T. Mumpower, Senior Pastor

Adam Mumpower is from Bristol, TN.  He came to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord at age six under the preaching of God’s Word in his Southern Baptist Church.  After developing a passion for the lost and for Scripture memory in high school, he attended King College (now King University) in Bristol where he received a B.A. in mathematics and minored in physics and education.  It was during his college years that Adam was challenged with Reformed Theology, and after a great deal of study and counsel, it became clear that the Lord was calling Adam into ministry.
After graduation from college, Adam moved to Charlotte to attend Reformed Theological Seminary.  During his seminary years, Adam was a youth intern at Back Creek PCA in Mt. Ulla and SouthLake PCA in Huntersville.  After graduation from seminary in 2004, Adam became the Associate Pastor of SouthLake PCA and ministered there until 2017.  Over the course of this time, Adam was also a teacher and coach at SouthLake Christian Academy.  In March of 2017, Adam became the Senior Pastor of Church of the Redeemer.
Adam is married to Deirdre (they met at King College), and they have three children.  Adam loves the Word of God, ministering in Christ’s Church, and preaching and teaching God’s Word.  Adam’s favorite past times are spending time with his wife and children (especially at sporting events), volunteering at his children’s school, and Tennessee Vols football.
